Description
Stretching the wheelbase on your Jeep CJ does not have to be a difficult modification. The Motobilt Jeep CJ Stretch Fuel Cell / Tank allows for up to 6-7 inches stretch depending on what axle you choose. The Motobilt Stretch CJ Tank holds approx 15.5 Gallons of gas. The tank features a CNC machined mount for the factory Jeep Sending unit from the factory 20 gal poly tank and uses a factory rubber o-ring to seal. The tank bolt in the factory Jeep CJ fuel tank location. It’s dimensionally the same envelope as the factory Jeep CJ 20 Gallon poly tank & factory stamped steel skid EXCEPT the forward facing portion of the tank is stretched 6″ towards the rear. The filler & overflow bungs are machined 6061-T6 aluminum & are positioned in exactly the same located as the factory tank. Fits 76-86 Jeep CJ5 & CJ7 models.
